Privacy Policy

Lectrum collects nothing about you. This policy is short because there is very little to describe: there is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no server of ours that your ideas are ever sent to.

What you write

The ideas you capture, their importance, and their reminder schedule are stored on your device by the app.

If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, that data also syncs through your own private iCloud database, so the same ideas appear on your other devices. That container belongs to your Apple Account. Business Lion LLC cannot read it, cannot list it, and receives no copy of it. Apple's handling of the data in it is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, Lectrum keeps everything locally and nothing leaves the device at all.

What we collect

Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It talks to no server operated by us, because there isn't one. We do not know that you installed Lectrum, how you use it, or what is in it.

Lectrum does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not track you across apps or websites, as those terms are defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.

Notifications

Reminders are local notifications: they are scheduled by the app on your own phone and delivered by iOS. Their contents never travel over a network. If you decline the notification permission, high and medium ideas simply stop reminding you; nothing else changes.

Settings

Your reminder frequencies, exact delivery times and quiet-hours window are saved in the app's own preferences on the device. They are settings, not information about you, and they are not sent anywhere.

Children

Lectrum is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

Deleting an idea in the app removes it, and the deletion syncs to your other devices through your own iCloud. Deleting the app removes its local data. To remove what is held in iCloud, use Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Account Storage on your device. Because we hold nothing, there is no request to send us and nothing for us to delete on your behalf.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
