Lectrum
Terms of Use
Effective 25 August 2026 · Business Lion LLC
Your ideas are yours. The app is provided as is, reminders are best-effort, and by using Lectrum you agree to these terms.
1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Business Lion LLC, the developer of Lectrum. By downloading or using the app you accept them; if you do not agree, do not use the app.
Lectrum is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Where these terms are silent, that agreement applies.
2. Your content
Everything you write in Lectrum belongs to you. Business Lion LLC claims no rights over your ideas and, as the privacy policy describes, never receives them — they live on your device and, if you use iCloud, in your own private iCloud database. Keeping your device and Apple Account secure and backed up is in your hands, because no one else holds a copy.
3. License
You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Lectrum on Apple devices you own or control, for your own use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or lease any part of the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law permits.
4. Reminders are best-effort
Lectrum's reminders are local notifications scheduled by iOS, and their delivery depends on your device — Focus modes, Low Power Mode, storage and system limits can all delay or suppress them. Do not rely on Lectrum for anything where a missed reminder could cause harm: medication, safety checks, legal deadlines and the like.
5. No warranty
Lectrum is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise the app will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that data loss will never occur. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Business Lion LLC's total liability for any claim arising from the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the law of your country, and mandatory consumer-protection rights you have there remain unaffected.
6. Purchases
Any payment for Lectrum is processed by Apple under your App Store account and Apple's terms; refunds follow Apple's standard process.
7. Changes and discontinuation
The app changes over time — features can be added, altered or removed. If these terms change materially, the revised version will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and continuing to use the app means you accept it. Should the app ever be discontinued, your data stays on your device and in your iCloud either way.
8. Termination
This license ends automatically if you breach these terms. You can end it at any time by deleting the app.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, except where the mandatory law of your country of residence applies instead.
10. Contact
Questions about these terms — or anything else: contact@businesslion.co. If something seems wrong, write first; nearly everything can be sorted out with an email.
