How does an idea come back?
It depends on the importance you gave it.
- High and Medium ideas arrive as a reminder on your phone. You choose how often for each level in Settings — anything from every hour to once a week.
- Low ideas never send a notification. When one is due it appears in the Resurfaced section at the top of the list instead. Keep pushes it out one more period.
I am not getting reminders
Check, in order:
- Settings inside Lectrum — the Notifications row shows the current permission. If it is not granted, tap Enable Notifications.
- iOS Settings → Notifications → Lectrum → Allow Notifications.
- Whether the idea's own Reminders toggle is off — a muted idea shows a crossed-out bell in the list and never notifies by design.
- Whether the idea is Low importance. Low never notifies.
- Whether quiet hours are on. Anything that would land inside the window is held until the window ends.
iOS also limits any app to 64 pending local notifications. If you have a very large number of high and medium ideas, the highest importance and newest ideas take those slots first.
What is Exact delivery time?
Turn it on for a level and that level's reminders arrive at a time of day you pick, rather than at whatever hour the interval happens to land on. Daily and multi-day rhythms keep their spacing and simply arrive at that time. Periods shorter than a day behave as once a day while it is on.
Do my ideas sync between devices?
Yes, through your own iCloud account, as long as you are signed in to iCloud on both devices with iCloud Drive enabled. There is no Lectrum account to create and no server of ours involved. If you are not signed in to iCloud, everything stays on the one device.
Where do completed and archived ideas go?
To the Library, reachable from the box icon in the top bar. Completed and archived ideas keep separate shelves there and can be reopened or restored. Nothing is removed unless you delete it.
Does travel or a daylight-saving change break my reminders?
No. Reminders follow your phone's local clock, so exact times and quiet hours stay where you set them. When the timezone changes, Lectrum reschedules straight away.
Does Lectrum cost anything?
No. Lectrum is free. There is no subscription, there are no in-app purchases, and there is nothing to unlock.
